The Ministry of Finance (MoF) has released the updated retail fuel prices for Malaysia, covering the period from 17 to 23 July 2025. In this latest weekly revision, RON95 petrol remains at RM2.05 per litre, unchanged since the government implemented a ceiling price in February 2021. This continues to provide some relief for Malaysian motorists as global oil prices remain volatile. On the other hand, RON97 petrol sees a slight increase of 3 sen, bringing the new price to RM3.21 per litre. This marks the latest adjustment in the premium fuel category, which is not subsidised and reflects changes in global market rates. Diesel prices in Peninsular Malaysia also record a 3 sen hike. For Euro 5 B10 and B20 blends, the price is now RM2.91 per litre, while Euro 5 B7 is priced at RM3.11 per litre. This adjustment follows the government's ongoing efforts to manage subsidy reforms and reduce fuel smuggling. Meanwhile, diesel prices in East Malaysia remain unchanged. The retail price for Euro 5 B10/B20 stays at RM2.15 per litre, and Euro 5 B7 remains at RM2.35 per litre. This is in line with the government's commitment to maintaining more affordable fuel prices in Sabah and Sarawak. These prices will be effective from 12:01 AM, Thursday, 17 July 2025, and will remain in place until the next scheduled announcement on Wednesday, 23 July 2025.
